Brian Alberth
For more than 12 years, Brian has been involved in film and television production including roles as a producer, director, writer, DP and various other production positions. He's produced and directed regional and national television programming including ATV Illustrated TV, American Snowmobiler, Into the Outdoors, and Trail Nation. He has won several awards, including a Telly, WCCA Award, MadFed Addy, CAB Award, and AHECTA Award.
Nella Citino
Nella is a media veteran and has gained years of experience as a producer, director, writer, and editor. Her broadcast work has gained national recognition from Emmys to Parents’ Choice awards and additional experience and training encompasses work in documentaries and children’s programs. She is a member of the Wisconsin Broadcaster’s Association Education Committee and Film Wisconsin, a non-profit organization dedicated to attracting the film industry to Wisconsin. Nella is currently the program chair for the Video and Motion Graphics program.
Ray Ibsen
Ray is a proud recipient of 13 EMMYs, as well as many CINE, New York Film Festival, TELLY, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and Parents Choice awards. Ray is a 25 year veteran Videographer, Audio Recordist, and Lighting Designer who's work has been seen on The History Channel, HGTV, ESPN,, ABC, NBC, CBS, The NFL Network, and others. His corporate clients have taken him around the Country and the World to capture manufacturing processes, live events, and training videos. For the educational field, Ray has helped develop, shoot, and edit numerous projects for in-school teaching, with subjects including History, Literacy, Social Studies, and Technology. In documentary work he has covered a myriad of subjects from living with HIV/AIDS, diabetics athletes, eating disorders, immigrant migration into the mid-west, and indigenous tribes of the Caribbean, to name a few.
Brandon Mueller
Brandon has had a vast array of experience producing videos for a variety of industries, focusing primarily in the corporate production area. His experience ranges from training, marketing, documentary, data collection and high speed imaging. Prior to instructing at MMI, he was employed by two Fortune 500 companies holding positions in video departments where he traveled extensively producing, shooting and editing projects for trade show and sales and marketing material, national ad campaigns and the department of defense. Whether shooting a repair procedure on a car, or filming a missile launch test on an aircraft carrier or Norwegian frigate, he has a passion for superior video production and compelling story telling, regardless of the subject matter. In addition to teaching at MMI, Brandon continues to freelance as a shooter, editor and motion graphics artist for local and national companies with his own business, Shoot Edit Deliver.
Josh Oas
Josh has been professionally involved in numerous aspects of Media production for over ten years. He has worked in the Audio / Video or Design fields as a Flash Developer / Designer, Animator, Web Designer, Videographer, Musician, and Editor. He has worked with such acts as Sevedust, Stone Sour, Godhead, Kittie, Tim Reynolds, Willy Porter and Monte Montgomery among others. He has won numerous Telly Awards and currently stays busy with a successful freelance career as a Flash Developer, and Animator.
Kent Steine
Kent is a classically trained illustrator that has been drawing and painting for 35 years, and instructing for 25. He began his career producing advertising and editorial illustration for numerous corporate advertising campaigns, and cover artwork for over fifty magazines and periodicals. He has been a contracted artist for various publishers including; Stabur-TMP; Comic Images; Market Square Productions; and Avalanche Publishing. Steine has produced concept art and story development for film; comics; and animation, where he served as both supervising special effects and background artist. Kent has authored two best selling books, and has been a contributing writer for publications such as, Step-By-Step Graphics magazine, Illustration, and AirBrush Talk. He has served as consultant to The Society of Illustrators; The Illustration House, Inc.; The History Channel; and PBS's, The History Detectives. Steine presents seminars on various subjects, from the history of American Illustration Art to painting with high definition makeup. Kent is a past Award of Excellence winner at The Communication Concepts Annual Illustration and Design Competition, in Washington D.C.. Steine has been recognized by the Salmagundi Club; and The Art Students League of New York. These days he focuses on painting pinup cartoons, glamorous celebrity portraits, and teaching.
Nancy Stillwell
Nancy worked in many aspects of TV newsrooms for 11 years. At various times she was an anchor, reporter, producer, and assignment editor. She’s on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and maintains contacts in TV news all across the country. She won a WBA award for a documentary, “Standing Up to Stalkers.” Nancy has been awarded two Midwest Emmys for her work on the children’s TV program “Get Real!” Nancy is a certified Apple Final Cut Pro® instructor. Currently, Nancy is the Lead Instructor for Video and Motion Graphics Program.
